Working principle of diaphragm accumulator

Time : 2024-12-24

The working principle of diaphragm accumulator is based on the compressibility of gas, and energy storage and release are achieved through the deformation of the diaphragm. The diaphragm accumulator consists of a liquid part and a gas part. The liquid part is connected to the hydraulic circuit, while the gas part is filled with compressed gas. When the pressure of the hydraulic system increases, the diaphragm is compressed and the gas is compressed to store energy; When the pressure drops, the compressed gas expands, pushing the diaphragm to release the stored energy back into the system in the form of hydraulic energy, thereby maintaining the pressure stability of the hydraulic system.

Structural composition

The main structure of a diaphragm accumulator is usually composed of a pressure resistant steel container, a diaphragm made of deformable flexible material (usually rubber), and a closed seat. The diaphragm separates the gas and oil inside the container, ensuring that the gas and liquid parts do not interfere with each other.

Application scenarios

Diaphragm accumulator plays an important role in various industries due to its light weight, easy portability, convenient installation, simple structure, and easy maintenance. Its low-pressure pulsation elimination effect is significant, suitable for various equipment that requires stable hydraulic systems, such as excavators, cranes, injection molding machines, etc.
